Michael Binger Grabs Title in SCOOP Day 9 Action
Over the course of the first 16 events on its schedule, the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker has already been a boon to pro poker players. A handful of well-known pros made runs at more SCOOP titles on Day 9 of the smash hit tournament series and Michael Binger, a BLUFF Magazine Player of the Year contender, walked away with one such title.
SCOOP Event #17, $22 NLHE (1R+1A)
The lowest tier of the single rebuy, single add-on event drew an incredible 9,657 entries, enough to cover the $150,000 guarantee just on the initial buy-ins alone. But 6,546 rebuys and 6,776 add-ons built a prize pool of $459,580. A two-way deal left $3,000 and the champion’s watch on the table; both were claimed by ‘TheChosenWun‘, whose most difficult choice now will be whether which of the remaining SCOOP events to play with his winnings.

The real story in this event was Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi.
