SCOOP: Matt Affleck Wins $470,500 in Event #8

The first two-day event on the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker schedule wrapped up late Monday with nearly $5.5 million being awarded across the three buy-in levels. The largest buy-in No Limit Hold’em of SCOOP so far featured a $255,000 overlay as the tournament fell 85 players short of the minimum to make the guarantee. The $3,000,000 prize pool included a scheduled $500,500 first place prize but the final three players Matt ‘MCMATTO’ Affleck, Zach ‘nofingclue’ Clark and Jamie ‘pokerjamers’ Armstrong chopped up the money and left $60,000 on the table.
